Properties】It is a colorless or almost colorless clear liquid.
Pharmacological effect】Pharmacodynamics Lincomycin belongs to the Lincomycin class of antibacterial drugs, is a bacteriostatic agent, sensitive bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, Bacillus anthracis, swine Daniostoma filum, certain mycoplasma (Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Mycoplasma porcine nasalis, Mycoplasma porcine arthritis), Leptospira and anaerobic bacteria (such as Clostridium, Clostridium tetani, Clostridium perfringens and most actinomycetes, etc.). It mainly acts on the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes and exerts antibacterial effects by inhibiting the extension of peptide chains and affecting protein synthesis.
Pharmacokinetics It is rapidly absorbed after intramuscular injection, with a peak blood concentration of 6.25 μg/ml for a single intramuscular injection of 11 mg/kg in pigs. It is widely distributed in vivo, with a manifest distribution volume of 2.8 L/kg in pigs, and can reach effective levels in most tissues, pleural fluid, ascites, and joint fluid, with particularly high concentrations in bone tissue, but cannot cross the blood-brain barrier into the cerebrospinal fluid. It can cross the placenta and be distributed into breast milk. It is mainly metabolized in the liver, excreted by bile and feces, and excreted in the urine in small amounts.
Drug Interaction】(1) It has synergistic effect on staphylococci, streptococci and other gram-positive bacteria when used in combination with gentamicin.
(2) Combined with aminoglycoside and peptide antibiotics, it may enhance the blocking effect on nerve-muscle junction. Combined with erythromycin, it has antagonistic effect, because the site of action is the same, and the affinity of erythromycin to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosome is stronger than this product.
(3) Should not be used in combination with antidiarrheal drugs that inhibit intestinal peristalsis and contain white clay.
(4) Contraindicated with kanamycin, neomycin, etc.
Indications】For Gram-positive bacterial infections, especially penicillin-resistant bacterial infections that are sensitive to this product, such as staphylococcal disease, streptococcal disease, mastitis, etc. It can also be used for porcine asthma caused by porcine dense spirochete disease and mycoplasma infection.
Usage and dosage】Intramuscular injection: 0.1ml per 1kg body weight, 1 time a day for pigs; 0.1ml for dogs and cats, 2 times a day for 3 to 5 days.
Adverse Reactions】It has neuromuscular blocking effect.
[Precautions] Intramuscular administration may cause - passing diarrhea or soft stools. Although rare, if it occurs, necessary measures should be taken to prevent dehydration.
