[Pharmacological effects] Pharmacodynamics Amoxicillin is a β-lactam antibiotic, It has broad spectrum antibacterial effect. The antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial activity of ampicillin are basically the same as that of ampicillin. The antibacterial activity of ampicillin against most Gram-positive bacteria is slightly weaker than that of penicillin, and it is sensitive to penicillinase, so it is ineffective against penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It has a strong effect on gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella and Pasteurella, but these bacteria are easy to produce drug resistance and are not sensitive to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pharmacokinetics Amoxicillin is quite stable to gastric acid, with 74% 92% absorption after oral administration in monogastric animals.
