[Character] This product is light yellow or yellow crystalline powder.

[ Pharmacological action ] Tetracycline antibiotics. Doxycycline reversibly binds to the receptor on the subunit 30 of the bacterial ribosome, interferes with the formation of ribosomal complex between tRNA and mRNA, prevents the elongation of peptide chain and inhibits protein synthesis, so that the growth and reproduction of bacteria are rapidly inhibited. Doxycycline has an inhibitory effect on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Bacteria were cross-resistant to doxycycline and oxytetracycline.

It is rapidly absorbed by oral administration, less affected by food, has high bioavailability, strong tissue permeability, wide distribution, and long duration of effective blood concentration. The protein binding rate in pigs was 93%.

[Action and use] Tetracycline antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of Escherichia coli disease, salmonellosis, pasteulosis and respiratory diseases caused by mycoplasma caused by gram positive and negative bacteria in pigs and chickens.
