[Character] This product is white or quasi-white powder.
[Pharmacological action ]  Sulfonamides antibacterial drugs. Sulfamethoxazine inhibits the synthesis of dihydrofolate by competing for dihydrofolate synthetase. Trimethoprim prevents the reduction of dihydrofolate to tetrahydrofolate by inhibiting dihydrofolate reductase. The combination of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim can double block the metabolism of folic acid and produce a synergistic antibacterial effect. Sulfamethoxazine is well absorbed by oral administration, with high blood concentration and low acetylation rate. Moreover, the acetylates have large solubility in urine, which is not easy to occur crystal urine.
[Action and use ]  Sulfonamides antibacterial drugs. It is used for respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract infection caused by sensitive bacteria, coccidiosis, toxoplasmosis, etc.

[Usage and dosage] based on this product. Oral administration: one dose, 200 ~ 250mg/lkg body weight for livestock. 2 times a day for 3 to 5 days.

[Adverse reactions] Long-term or heavy use can damage the kidney and nervous system, affect weight gain, and sulfonamide poisoning may occur.

[Precautions] (1) The continuous use of drugs should not exceed 1 week.

(2) For long-term use, sodium bicarbonate should be taken at the same time to alkalize the urine.
