【Properties】This product is white or off-white powder.
【Pharmacological effect】Antiparasitic drug. Albendazole has a broad-spectrum anthelmintic activity, and has a strong killing effect on nematodes, tapeworms, and trematodes. Its mechanism of action is to bind to tubulin in worms, prevent it from multimerizing with α-tubulin to form microtubules, and affect cell reproduction processes such as mitosis, protein assembly and energy metabolism in worms.
Ivermectin has a good repelling effect on internal and external parasites, especially arthropod insects and internal nematodes, and is mainly used to expel gastrointestinal nematodes, lung nematodes and external parasites in pigs and other animals. Its deworming mechanism is to promote the release of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) from presynaptic neurons, thereby opening the GABA-mediated chloride ion channel. Chloride ion flow can reduce the cell membrane impedance and cause a slight depolarization of the post-synaptic membrane static potential, which interferes with the signal transmission between neuromuscular, relaxes and paralyzes the worm body, and leads to the death or excretion of the worm body.
