[Properties] This product is almost colorless to yellow clear liquid.

[Pharmacological action] Pharmacodynamics Ciprofloxacin lactate is a broad-spectrum bactericidal agent for animals. It can inhibit bacterial DNA replication and transcription by acting on the gyrase A subunit of bacteria and produce bactericidal effect. It has good antibacterial activity against most Gram-negative bacteria and cocci, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella, Escherichia coli, Enterobacter, Campylobacter, Shigella, Salmonella, Aeromonas, Proteus, Haemophilus, Yersinia, Serratia, Vibrio. Brucella, Chlamydia trachomatis, Staphylococcus (including penicillase-producing and methicillin-resistant bacteria), Mycoplasma and Mycobacterium were also sensitive to it. It has weak antibacterial activity against anaerobes and is ineffective against infections with anaerobes. The effect of this product on Gram-negative bacteria is obviously better than that of other varieties, especially on Pseudomonas aeruginosa in vitro antibacterial activity is the strongest.

Pharmacokinetics The plasma protein binding rate of ciprofloxacin was significantly different in different animal species, 70% in cattle. 23% in swine. It is excreted mainly in the urine in its original form. The half-life of intravenous administration was 4.9 hours for horses, 2.4 hours for calves, 1.3 hours for sheep, 1.5 hours for goats, 3.1 hours for pigs, 9.0 hours for chickens, and 2.6 hours for dogs.

[Drug interactions] ① It has synergistic antibacterial effect with aminoglycosides and broad-spectrum penicillins. ②Ca, Mg², Fe³, Al and other metal ions can be chelated with this product, affecting its absorption. ⁺⁺⁺³⁺③ It has an inhibitory effect on liver drug enzymes, so that the metabolism of other drugs (such as theophylline and caffeine) is decreased, the clearance rate is decreased, the blood drug concentration is increased, and even toxic symptoms occur. ④ In combination with probenecid, the renal tubular excretion of the drug was inhibited due to competition for the same transporter, and its half-life was prolonged.

[Usage and dosage] Intramuscular injection: one dose, 0.5ml / 10kg body weight, livestock; lml for poultry. Twice a day.

Iv: one dose, 0.4ml per 10kg body weight for livestock. 2 times a day.

[Adverse reactions]
